Kimball Bullington, Ph.D., P.E.

Biography:

Dr. Kimball Bullington is an associate professor of operations management at Middle Tennessee State University . He is a former director of strategic supply and quality engineering manager. He has over 20 years of industry and consulting experience. His current research interests focus on the development and implementation of supply strategies in Six Sigma and lean production environments as well as supplier development (customer-supplier team training, team performance measurement, and customized structured supplier evaluation). 

Kimball Bullington has been a frequent speaker for professional associations. His articles have been published in such journals as Production and Inventory Management Journal, Journal of Quality Technology, Quality Progress, Supply Chain Management, and Inside Supply Management. Dr. Bullington is a registered professional industrial engineer in the state of Alabama . He has been on the board of SMART Nashville, Inc. for four years, serving as president for the last two years. 

Kimball and his wife, Dinah, have been married 20 years, have six children so far and live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Kimball serves where he can, enjoys writing and telling stories, but is focused on raising six adults.
