SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – Utah County
This position is offered through Ascent Executive Search.
This Utah County client is $35M division of a multi-national corporation with revenues reaching $10B. This position holds a critical role in supply and inventory management including vendor management and purchasing budgets. Candidates should have experience in a large environment as well as lean manufacturing experience and 5+ years of staff management. Considered candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements that are consistent with corporate and division goals and are compatible with facilities, equipment, material, and manpower resources available.
  • Establish short- and long-term manufacturing priorities as supply/demand factors change to ensure customer satisfaction and optimum utilization of inventory.
  • Assist in contract negotiations for distributors and suppliers ensuring ultimate partnership cooperation while maximizing the supply chain’s return on assets.
  • Responsible for worldwide shipments, backlog, delivery, and inventory of insourced and outsourced products.
  • Establish forecast plans and communicate to supplier.
  • Support Marketing, Manufacturing, and Engineering during plan development for new products and the retirement of existing products.
  • Provide analysis and status reports to manufacturing and operations management as required.
  • Support Fluke divisions’ worldwide operations goal establishment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering and minimum of 8 years' manufacturing or material management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, build and manage any size cross-functional team, formulate ideas into operational plans, and influence a wide range of people. 
  • Thorough knowledge of material procurement, stores, scheduling, material movement and control.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.  Strong financial and analytical skills.
