Required Qualifications

At least 2 years of manufacturing or MRO procurement experience

Desired Qualifications

INVENTORY ADMINISTRATOR & BUYER – Stampin’ Up, Riverton, Utah
Stampin' Up! is looking for an employee who will perform a variety of roles and functions for the planning area including the setup and maintenance of inventory item numbers and bill of materials, and procurement of paper, printing, and raw materials. Responsible for start and end dates for all inventory items, including promotions. Oversee the fulfillment of inventory requests.
Essential Job Functions:

  1. Set up item codes for all products sold, including promotional item codes and event item numbers.
  2. Set up bills of material for all manufactured and packaged products. Maintain accuracy of bills of material. Coordinate with manufacturing and cost accounting on initial setup and all changes.
  3. Update status of all item codes including promotional items. Ensure item codes are activated and disabled at appropriate times. Coordinate with inventory department, promotions committee, IT, and Demonstrator Support.
  4. Enter data into Stamp Set Control Form for all newly developed stamp sets.
  5. Manage and maintain inventory tables with changing system information.
  6. Serve as point person for internal inventory requisitions (IIRs), code requests to proper accounting locations, approve requests, and coordinate and oversee process.
  7. Perform analysis of inventory turns exercising judgment to assess the impact on other projects while applying knowledge of inventory and manufacturing processes. Perform various inventory analyses as needed.
  8. Assist in procurement of paper, printing, and raw materials required for manufacturing.
  9. Assist manager in projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. One to two years of previous purchasing experience preferred.
  3. Excellent organizational skills with working knowledge of spreadsheets and general business accounting.
  4. Detail oriented with ability to document details and carry out direction under minimal direction and supervision.
  5. Initiative with ability to anticipate needs, make recommendations, and take appropriate action.
  6. Good communication skills with the ability to interact with employees and managers in various departments and resolve common concerns through problem solving skills.
