The position is responsible for applying the guidelines of company policies, procedures, controls, and objectives with a wide variety of suppliers to obtain products that meet Cornerstone Research & Development Inc. specifications. Support manufacturing through the timely acquisition of goods and services based on MRP recommendations. Ensure material specifications are communicated to suppliers and track on time delivery performance by supplier.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and clients. Ability to speak and understand effectively in English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
APICS, CPM, CPSM, CPIM certification preferred.
Strong working knowledge of computers.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to prioritize projects and recognize deficiencies in paperwork. Decision making abilities required. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
